After watching a beloved aunt endure a stroke and the ensuing lifestyle changes, Debbie was inspired to form Home Companion Care, a company committed to assisting seniors and their families. When Avast In Home Care acquired HCC, Debbie remained on to continue doing all she could to serve the community. A Certified Senior Advisor and Assistant Chairperson of the Tri County Regional Ethics Committee (TREC), Debbie has received numerous accolades for her tireless efforts, such as the TREC Distinguished Service Award and the Gloucester County Chamber Service Award. She is a member of the Kennedy University Hospital Auxiliary board, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Gloucester County Senior Corp Advisory Council, and a past board member of the Washington Township Chamber of Commerce. Beyond all this, she has facilitated a support group for Adult Children of Parents Diagnosed with Dementia and co-founded the Caregiver Advisory Board Committee.
